So, in an online media post, news outlets report that advances in Africa today include using Solar Power to produce dried fruits (Yes,that Africa).

Solar Power and other technology are key in supporting and advancing underdeveloped nations/regions/etc. by way of an ecological, but also fiduciarily sound manner, means and way. So why is it in Kenya (East Africa), that they appear to be wasting financial resources on projects that are unnecessary and unsound for the region??!

Like, So in the WHOLE continent of Africa do they mean to say there is actually a single country/region/ville, etc. that has 18hrs or less of shady overcast??! Have you not seen the deserts of northern Africa (on tv), or the Southern plains of Zimbabwe in the South? Even in the rainforestry/more central region/s it gets a little sunny- A greenhouse can provide natural sunlight, yes-?! This is a prime example of wasted funding. And how are they growing pineapple trees in their Kenyan 'gardens' with no lands?? I’m sure we are not alone in saying that somehow we are left feeling super confused…
