Grants Applicants (Entity)
It is important to note that restrictions may and do apply and that some granting agencies/entities require an extensive review/application process, so it is important to submit proposals early (and on time) when/where invited to apply. Typically, Eligible organizations are those charitable entities that qualify as tax-exempt under 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code in one or more of the following areas: education, environmental, human rights, animal rights/humane, etc…. Also, Note: Granting agencies and/or Granting entities typically do NOT accept unsolicited grant proposals for funding, etc... However, Organizations can submit formal letters of inquiry [LOI (i.e., during a specified enrollment period as designated by the granting agency/entity from whom funds are being requested). However, due to the volume of letters submitted, it is also recommended that your non-profit/agency have alternate means of revenue (i.e., a strong marketing and fundraising plan, as well as supportive retail merchandise, etc… where/when/as possible)]. However, in the event that Letters of Inquiry are permitted, alternatively, A (brief, but) formal Letter-of-Introduction, (L-O-I™️), is not necessarily out of the question, but the more formal (i.e., private) the organization is, the more formal/conservative you must be in your fundraising efforts. Remember, as with anything else, with regard to grants requests, First impressions are also the only impression.
